MISS ROSE - PRINCIPAL / DANCE
Rose trained professionally, graduating with teaching qualifications in Imperial Classical Ballet, Tap Dance, Modern Theatre, Disco/Freestyle and National Dance - more recently qualifying with Progressing Ballet Technique and Acrobatic Arts. After completing her training she taught at many stage schools throughout the North West before moving to the Balearic Islands to teach at "Llar Dansa" a prestigious dance school in the heart of Palma de Mallorca. She later moved back to the UK to create Red Rose Stage Academy.
Rose was thrilled to have been asked to assist with the Children’s Choreography, Company Management and Safeguarding for the West End Proms at Lytham Festival in 2017. She was subsequently asked back to Company Manage and assist in casting (on behalf of Cuffe and Taylor, Live Nation) the children’s company for the 2019 Hollywood Proms at Lytham Festival - alongside Michael Ball OBE, Sheridan Smith OBE, Lea Salonga.
Following her dabble in casting, she was offered the position of casting assistant for Maven Casting. During her time with Maven she assisted with the casting for West End shows, national tours, adverts and TV pilots.
In 2023, Rose opened and was principal for Blackpool Winter Gardens’ resident youth theatre company, Red Rose Theatre Works.
Rose’s proudest moment will always be opening Red Rose Stage Academy. She loves nothing more than watching her students enjoying their classes and blossoming as performers, as well as paying forward the opportunities and magical experiences afforded to her throughout her career.
MISS BETH - DRAMA / STREET / LOWER SCHOOL DANCE
Beth took to the stage for the first time at 13 years of age as a pupil of Stagecoach Theatre Arts. Her love of performing - in particular dancing - led to her studying Performing Arts at College, alongside training at Red Rose Stage Academy.
Since graduating college Beth has turned her passion for theatre into a passion for teaching - and does so as a Dance, Drama and LAMDA tutor at various schools throughout the North West. Beth also qualified in Acrobatic Arts and is thrilled to be teaching it at Red Rose Stage Academy.
Beth was honoured to have the opportunity to perform in A Cabaret For Christies since 2018 and was excited to be a part of their critically acclaimed production of In The Heights - this has led to Beth becoming a permanent member of the company and has performed with them ever since.
JACK - SINGING /ADULT ACTING
Jack has spent many years performing in a variety of musicals, plays and theatre productions. He’s co written plays and also written the music for a musical which premiered in Manchester. He came home to Blackpool and completed a teaching degree, where he then spent the last few years teaching all ages. He’s really looking forward to becoming a full time staff member at Red Rose Stage Academy and getting the opportunity to help build the skills and confidence of all the students.
